This update for Black Ops 1 is a major overhaul of the entire game. It includes many new features, including twelve re-imagined maps from the original Call of Duty: World at War and Black Ops, support for HD resolutions, improved lighting, textures and graphics in Multiplayer mode. The Zombies mode has been expanded with five new maps - Kino Der Toten, Ascension, Shangri La, Moon and Origins - along with a wealth of other additions that make the Zombies experience even more thrilling. Single-player mode has been expanded with an additional 25 missions and a new storyline: Soviet forces under the command of Nikita Dragovich and Sergeant Reznov launch a full-scale invasion of the United States. Players assume the role of an elite Black Ops soldier, fighting alongside several iconic characters from previous Zombies outbreaks as they try to take down the enemy.The following maps have been reworked specifically for Black Ops:The following maps originally appeared in one or more Call Of Duty games:This update also included new deathstreaks. These are: Jugger-Nog, Speed Cola, Martyrdom and One Man Army. The Nuke Town is Multiplayer map, which appears in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The map is inspired by the popular "Nuketown" map from Call of Duty: Black Ops. The map only appears on the PC version of Black Ops II through Nuketown 2025, along with some other developers' names. It was then added under custom game settings on all platforms. It has three new game modes: Free for All, Team Deathmatch and Domination. A new game mode called Ground War was added to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the Game of the Year Edition. It features all previous game modes, including Headquarters. The three new game modes are:The PC version of the game has a total of 14 multiplayer maps. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions have nine multiplayer maps, but since their release they have received four downloadable content packs each with three additional multiplayer maps for a total of fourteen. The Wii U version has nine multiplayer maps, but since its release it has received one downloadable content pack with three additional multiplayer map for a total of twelve. The remaining five maps are in the PC version. This is the following map packs that have been released for "Call of Duty: Black Ops II": The menu is redesigned with a cool music track playing in the background with the image of Alex Mason on top which will be displayed up when scrolling through options. The menu also has an indicator for current player level which displays what level they are currently at. The menus, with the exception of the options menu, are highlighted in orange.
